2008 AOF FEST IS THE HOME FOR NEW AND ESTABLISHED FILMMAKERS

Greetings Film Fans, the 2008 AOF Festival Season is upon us and beginning July 25, 2008 you will be able to see hundreds of the most exciting film, video, animation, experimental, comedy and action features and shorts around.

In just four short years, the AOF has grown into a Major International Film Festival and we have our filmmakers, sponsors and supporters to thank.

This year we have made the move from the Long Beach area to the beautiful and exciting Old Pasadena District. Our new Host Theater is the Laemmle Theaters, our new Host Hotel is the fantastic Courtyard by Marriott and our Award Show and Dinner will be held at the incredible Twin Palms Restaurant.

Through a very special arrangement, Xristos Productions and Sony Creative Software will be offering a new 'Guerilla Filmmaker Award' that includes a complete Sony Vegas Editing System and Cinescore Composer Package. In addition to our great roster of awards we will be adding a special Writers Award Dinner at Mojitos Restaurant. We will also be having special parties and mixers at Gordon Bierch, Mojitos, The Vertical Bar and Manny's Pizzeria.

Actor / Producer Michael Madsen to Receive the Prestigious Will Rogers Pioneer Award At the 2008 AOF Festival. Madsen is the star of Sin City I and II, Strength and Honour, and more than 150 film and television productions.
